Cell Phone of Choice
Sidekick to Razr
Favorite Cell Phone
We're old enough to remember when cell phones came into the mainstream. Do you remember your first one?
Mine was a...get ready for this...Nextel Direct Connect. Yeah, the one that had the walkie-talkie function. Through my dad's job, he was able to get them at a discount so that's what I had!
Though my favorite cell phone (still is to this day) was my Razr. It was so small and easy to carry around and the battery lasted weeks. Seriously, I could go without charging it for what seemed like forever. Unfortunately, I never had a Sidekick!

Archeologists Discover Ancient Relic
Last week in Anytown, USA, a 34 year old archeologist made a discovery in his apartment's dog-walking area. After a recent rainstorm, he observed something sticking up from the ground. Upon further investigation, he discovered this fossilized, cellular device from the Digitacious Period.
Though he was able to find a charger for this device, the battery was deemed to be operational so he was unable to play snake on it. He donated it to his local community museum to be displayed next to a real dinosaur fossil.
Old School Cell Phones
When did you get your first cell phone? I know that I was behind the curve among my peers for having a cell phone. Heck, I was WAY behind my peers for getting text messaging. My parents would often say, "If you need to tell somebody something, call them!" Isn't it funny that calling someone now can be seen as inconsiderate and many people prefer texting?
Do you remember having a set amount of minutes to use on cell phones? I can't believe that was ever a thing! If you wanted to talk to your boyfriend/girlfriend for "free," you had to wait until after 9 PM!
I don't know about you, but that's past my bedtime these days!
Tell me your favorite cell phone memory or story by replying to this email and I may share it in a future newsletter!
As always, the struggle is real, but you got this!
