Classic Childhood TV Shows

Some of The Best Kid's TV...Ever

It's been a while since I've watched Saturday morning cartoons. Heck, it's been a while since I've watched anything that wasn't being streamed from another device. After scrolling through Reddit, I found this picture that summarized how amazing it was to be a kid in the 90s/early 2000s and wake up on a Saturday morning.

Weekends As a Kid

You made it through the week. No more teachers, bullies or homework for two solid days. It's Friday night and you can do whatever you want (kinda).

Maybe you're being forced into some mandatory fun with a family game night or are drinking some Code Red and playing video games. All you know is that when you wake up tomorrow, mom's making breakfast and your favorite TV shows are on.

Incredible Lineup

I'm sure many of you have strong connections to some of the shows mentioned below. While I never watched Power Rangers Wild Force, I definitely watched the original Power Rangers. I actually remember when Power Rangers was invented...I guess we're old now.

Recess, the Proud Family and Kim Possible are some incredible cartoons that helped define a generation of Millennials. I mean, look at these shows!

A Few More Shows

The lineup listed above was specific to ABC. Incredible kids' TV wasn't just limited to ABC. How about Nickelodeon?

Rugrats, Hey Arnold!, Doug. I know, so freaking good.

Then, on May 1, 1999, one of the best animated shows ever began. (Insert obnoxious and annoying laugh here.

You guessed it. Spongebob Squarepants. Can you believe Spongebob is now 24 years old? At least the show is, anyways. I still could never figure out of the sponge was a kid or adult or something in between.
